Pansy Munday Boomer- Mrs. Pansy Frazier Munday, age 94, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born in Wilkes County on July 31, 1924 to the late George and Nellie Triplett Frazier. Mrs. Munday was an active, life-long member at Little Rock Baptist Church, where she held many different positions over the years; including Sunday School teacher, singing in the choir and helping with Vacation Bible School. She volunteered with local elections at the Kings Creek School Election Site. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Plez Munday; daughter, Donna Munday; brothers, Forrest Frazier and Jay Frazier; and her sister, Fern Lackey. Mrs. Munday is survived by her son, Gary Munday and wife, Judy of Wilmington; grandchildren, Tracy Kincaid and Michael Munday; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet, Charlotte and JoAnne; and brother Gib; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Munday’s life will be held at Little Rock Baptist Church on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastors Hal Greene and Robert Livingston officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
