Pamela Jenkins

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Pamela Craig Jenkins, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. Pam was born in Caldwell County on June 27, 1955 to the late Earl R. Craig and Hazel Coggins Craig. She was married for 39 years to Donnie Jenkins of the residence. Pam was a loving wife and mother and was blessed to have an enormous amount of loving and caring friends. She loved her church, Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church, where she and her family were active members. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Craig. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Lori and Kristen Jenkins; sister, Delores Craig Kirby and husband, Dan D. Kirby of Hudson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 3:30 PM with Pastor Nicky Waters and Pastor Bud Jernigan officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Jenkins, T.J. Jenkins, Todd Jenkins, Ron Hughes, Mickey Bunton, Nick Wilcox, Steve King, and Robert Marshall. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of the church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 prior to the service.
