Opal Cline Kizer

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Opal Cline Kizer, 92 of Lenoir, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Shaire Center Assisted Living. Born October 26, 1917 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Kizer was a daughter of the late John Marvin and Lula Cline and the wife of the late David A. Kizer. Mrs. Kizer was a homemaker and a member of St. John?s Lutheran Church in Hudson. She is survived by her daughter Beth Kizer Haas and husband Jerry of Hudson, her son Eddie Kizer and wife Hope of Granite Falls; 4 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Mrs. Kizer?s life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2009 at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Hudson with Reverend Marcus Ollis officiating. Inurnment will follow in Belleview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 unitl 2:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service at St. John's Lutheran Church.
