Opal "Marlene" Chandler

Opal Marlene Chandler, 69 of Whitnel went to be with our Heavenly Father Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Marlene was born March 30, 1954, to the late Edward and Opal Russell.  Those left to cherish wonderful memories are her sister, Ramona Russell, daughter Alisha and husband Bradley, son Chris and wife Tina, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marlene spent many years as a hair stylist and salon owner.  She had a passion for doing hair and loved her clients, loved her family and most of all loved the Lord.

A celebration of her life will be held at Evans Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 22, 2024. A Visitation  will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with service to follow. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
