Olivia Miller

Lenoir, NC – Mrs. Charlotte Olivia Church Miller of the Gamewell Community passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016. Born July 31, 1928 in Caldwell County, Olivia was the daughter of the late Carl Bevins and Dixie Moore Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Miller, sisters Ruby Lenore Riddle, Mary Faye Chapman, Colleen Elizabeth Davidson, Goldie Mae Simmons, Shirley Wray Robbins, Delilah Joan Church and brothers Col. William Vern Church and Jim Roger Church. Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter Karla Olivia Miller, a special niece DeDe Gatlin, a brother Carl Bevins Church, Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm on Wednesday, October 26. A private graveside memorial service will be held at Belleview Cemetery. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Salvation Army - Lenoir, P.O. Box 1167, Hickory, NC 28603 or to the charity of one’s choice.
