Norma 'Dottie' Jones

Lenoir – Norma “Dottie” Dorothea Jones, age 54, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Boston, MA on December 3, 1960 to the late Forrest McBriar and Lillian Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her aunts, Ruth Jones Moore and Beatrice Jones Forney and cousins, John Mack “Sweet Pea” Moore and Kevin Emmanuel “Chip” Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Jones; sister, Denise Jones; and three brothers. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Smith Memorial United Methodist Church in Lenoir at 1:00 with Pastor Charlie Rivens and Pastor Geralene Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service. The family will also receive friends at the home of Denise Jones, 301 Arlington Circle, Lenoir.
