Norma Denny Ferguson

Lenoir – Mrs. Norma Denny Ferguson, age 66, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on September 2, 1948 to the late Wesley McConniehead and Lucy Denny McConniehead. She was married to Mote Ferguson of the residence. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles McConniehead and Bill Denny and her sister, Jessie Bailey. Other than her husband, Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her children, Mote Ferguson, Jr. and wife, Melinda; Thomas Ferguson and wife, Crystal; Crystal Ferguson; Wendy Ferguson; grandchildren, India Corpening; Michael McCaleb; Jonathan Ferguson; Wynton Horton; Tasha Ritch; Jasmine Utley; four great-grandchildren; one brother; six sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Ferguson’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Rocky Dula officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the Dug Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
