Norma Campbell

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Norma Campbell age 77, of Lenoir, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born December 24, 1944 in Smyth County, Virginia, Norma was the daughter of Leverne and Lura Pennington. She was a member of Zack’s Fork Baptist Church. She was a Godly woman who loved her family. The most important thing in her life was the time she spent with her husband of 59 years, Mr. Ronnie Campbell, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Campbell; two brothers, Randall Pennington and Gary Pennington; and one sister, Christine Pennington. She is survived by her children, Donald Campbell, Connie Laws and Cindy Suddreth (husband Kevin) all of Lenoir; sisters Linda Trivitt and Carolyn Pennington of Marion Virginia; her grandchildren, Michael Campbell (wife Emily), Elizabeth Laws, Jamie Campbell, Shauna Laws, Samantha Wilcox (husband Jeff), Marcus Odum and Chelsea Philyaw; four great grandchildren, Cloe Campbell, Jackson Campbell, Hunter Wilcox and Ava Campbell. A memorial service for Norma will be held at the chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022.
