Noreen Hilton Buckner

Hudson, NC- Mrs. Noreen Hilton Buckner, age 69, of Hudson, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Born November 9, 1940 in Caldwell County, Noreen was a daughter of the late Bill and Pearline Lingle Hilton. She worked for Century Furniture from 1971 to 2002. She was a member of the Refuge Missionary Baptist Church. Noreen will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and nanny to all her children. She was special to everyone who knew her. In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Harvey Buckner, Jr.; a grandson, Shane Buckner; a sister, Jeanette Ingle; and one brother, Buck Hilton. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William Buckner, Sr. of Hudson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Blake Price and Sandra Warren of Hudson, and Ronnie and Susan Price of Connelly Springs; one daughter, Lisa Deyton of Boone; seven granddaughters, Janny Hendrix of Connelly Springs, Brandy Hendrix of Connelly Springs, Brandy and Dave Hedrick of Lenoir, Jessica Warren of Lenoir, April and Chris Hullender of Hickory, Amber Buckner and Jasen Drum of Newton, and Brooklyn Price of Connelly Springs; 10 great grandchildren, Logan Hedrick, Payton Hedrick, Justus Hullender, Jonah Hullender, Nora Hullender, Alyssa Drum, Colten Drum, Issiah Clark, Malachi Price, and Jaren Hendrix; a niece, Stacy Walker of Hudson, Noreen is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Noreen?s life will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Refuge Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Woody and Deacon Larry Marley officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Jasen Drum, Chris Hullender, Blake Price, Darrell Walker, Ronnie Price, and Dave Hedrick. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Nelson and Jonathon Woody. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Refuge Missionary Baptist Church from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
