Nora Benfield

Nora Blanche Benfield, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at College Pines Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Caldwell County on June 13, 1945 to the late Arthur Hatley and Hester Gragg Hatley. Mrs. Benfield was a loving mother and grandmother who cared deeply for her family. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Benfield is survived by her children, Karen Benfield; Sandra Steele; Doug Benfield; Sarah Benfield; Amy Bledsoe; and Gary Benfield; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. Benfield will be held at Upton Cemetery.
