Nichole Leigh Parker

Nichole Leigh Parker On Thursday evening, September 2, 2021, Nichole Leigh Parker closed her eyes for the final time on this earth and opened them for the first time in her Heavenly home. Born April 15, 1975, she was the daughter of Reverend Roger A. Parker and Vickie A. Parker. Nichole was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Lewis Annas and her paternal grandparents John Parker and Princie Parker. In addition to her parents, Nichole is survived by her maternal grandmother Martha Drum Annas, two uncles Melvin Parker and Edward (Eddie) Annas (wife, Rosanne), and cousins Caroline Hewlett and Lindy Davis (husband, Matt). Nichole loved to worship at her church, Baton Baptist, where she was a faithful member of the Angels Unaware Sunday School Class. She especially loved Vacation Bible School and worshipping God through music. Nichole fulfilled God’s purpose for her life by bringing joy to all who met her. Lighting a room with her smile, Nichole made friends without ever saying a single word. She filled her family and friends’ lives with love and laughter. The family will receive friends at Baton Baptist Church, 4491 Hickory Nut Ridge Road, Hudson, N.C. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 1:00PM to 2:45PM with 3:00PM service following. Dr. Steve Parker will be officiating. Interment will follow the service at Baton Baptist Church Cemetery. Because of COVID restrictions, guests are asked to wear masks. Memorials may be made to Baton Baptist Church at 4491 Hickory Nut Ridge Road, Hudson, NC 28638 for the N.C. Baptist Children’s Home Intellectual and Development Disabilities Residents.
