Nell Marie Rhoten

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Nell Marie Rhoten, age 67, of Calico Road, went to be with her Heavenly Father and Family on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 surrounded by her loved ones. Born May 7, 1939 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Rhoten was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Bessie Mae Greene and the wife of the late Denver Allen Rhoten. Mrs. Rhoten was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church and had worked as a volunteer with Hospice. She is survived by three sons, Ricky Allen Walsh and friend Joreen; Jeffrey Lane Walsh and friend Samantha; Robert Dean Walsh, all of Lenoir; 2 daughters-in-law, Danielle Walsh of Connelly Springs; Karena Walsh of Lenoir; one sister, Mrs. Corrine Ford and husband Warren of Lenoir; one brother, John Thomas Greene of Lenoir; half-brother, Clyde Greene formerly of Lenoir; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son Randy Evan Walsh. A celebration of Life Service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Grandview Park Baptist Church with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 until 11 AM prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Grandview Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 2539 Grandview Circle, Lenoir, NC, 28645.
