Neal Martin

Neal Martin Lenoir – Bobby “Neal” Martin, 53, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2015. Born July 28, 1961, in Caldwell County, Neal was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Neal Martin, Sr. Neal was a graduate of Caldwell Community College, with a degree in Computer Programming and previously employed as a Long Distance Learning Technician at Caldwell Community College. He was an avid bowler, loved all things related to computers and he was an avid gamer with his brother-in-law, Barry Chappell. He loved his precious pets Wolfie, Shelby, and Moxie. Neal was a kind and generous brother-in-law and was loved by all. Neal is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Rebecca Diane Martin of Lenoir. Also, his mother Wanda Martin of Lenoir, sisters Anita Martin Richter and husband Tom Richter of Greensboro, Jennifer Martin Chappell and husband Barry Chappell of Hudson, and brother, Joe Martin and wife Diane of Lenoir. Neal is survived by five nieces, Jennifer, Cyndi, Jordan, Leah and Jessica, three nephews, Dalton, Scott, and Justin, and four great-nieces and nephews. A celebration of Neal’s life will be held at Central Baptist Church on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Pastor John Jernigan officiating.
