Nathan Horace Walsh

Nathan Horace Walsh,  Lenoir, NC, age 64 died Saturday, June 8,2024 while at Amorem Hospice, Hudson, NC.
Nathan was born to William Horace “Bill” & Ruth Dula Walsh Sept. 25, 1959, Lenoir, NC.
In addition to his parents Nathan was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Walsh, Elkin, NC;
Niece, Ashley Brooke Walsh, Lenoir, NC.

Nathan is survived by his brother Alan Walsh, Lenoir, NC, sister Nelda Walsh Moore (Howard) Granite Falls, NC. Precious girl friend, Cheryl Greene, Lenoir, NC; Sister in Love, Susie Walsh, Granite Falls, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nathan worked most of his life for Alan Walsh Logging.
Nathan enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, shooting matches, and horseshoes.  He was an avid collector of various items all his life.
In Nathan’s later years, after declining health,  as a resident of The Foley Center, Chestnut Ridge, Blowing Rock, NC, he began a hobby of beading necklaces, and his designs were outstanding.

Everyone is invited to Nathan’s Celebration of Life to be held by the Yadkin River (which Nathan loved) Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 5PM, 4435 Coppage Farm Rd. Lenoir NC (off Grandin Rd.)

The family would like to thank the staffs at Amorem, Hospice Hudson, and The Foley Center, Blowing Rock for the wonderful care that was provided to Nathan.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Amorem Hospice at 526 Pine Mtn Rd. Hudson, NC 28638.
