Nancy Morrison

Nancy Morrison, 82, sadly passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Nancy was born December 15, 1941, to the late Fred and Lennie Mathis.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Col. L. C. Morrison; sisters, Patty and Faye.

Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory are her daughter, Annitra Morrison, son, Lenny Morrison (Amy); grandchildren, Cammron, Henry, and Mary; brother, Charles Mathis and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Nancy married Col. L. C. Morrison in high school, and she followed him throughout his military career.  They settled in Caldwell County, NC where she became an orthodontic assistant until her first grandson was born at which time she retired to become a full-time Nana, which was the highlight of her life.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
