Nancy Ruth Moore

Lenoir, NC - Mrs. Nancy Ruth Gragg Moore, age 66, of Hudson, went home to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a lot of family in heaven waiting on her.  Born June 21, 1946 in Avery County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Ashley Gragg and Ruth Brewer Gragg. Nancy was a loving mother and grandmother, and a good Christian. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by an Infant daughter; a sister, Pearline Gragg Walden; and a brother, Eddy Eugene Gragg. Left behind to grieve her passing are three sons, Darrin Moore, Shane Moore and Nicholas “Nick” Moore, wife Misty; one daughter, Vickie Houck; two brothers, Dennis Gragg and John Gragg, wife Cindy; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, she is also survived by a number of friends and family. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Donald Gragg officiating. Interment will be at the Madison Roosevelt Gragg Cemetery at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Evans Funeral Service and Crematory. Memorials can be sent to the Moore family at 3575 Deal Mill Road, Hudson, NC 28638.
