Nancy Lou Isaacs

Nancy Lou Pritchard Isaacs, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was born on August 26, 1932 to the late Ira Dewitt Pritchard and Ruth Novella Yount Pritchard. Nancy became a member of Yadkin Baptist Church in 1968. In addition to serving as the church secretary for over 30 years, she taught Sunday school and managed church accounts as co-treasurer with her husband. Nancy loved supporting her husband, raising her four children, and building their home. Her favorite activity was creating handmade quilts for each of her children, her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill B. Isaacs, brother, Joe Link Pritchard and sister, Martha Frances Pritchard Craven Long. Nancy is survived by her sister, Anne Holsclaw of Newton; brother, Dewitt H. (Buddy) Pritchard of Lenoir; son, Rev. Michael Isaacs (Beth) of Lenoir; daughter, Sarah Isaacs Story (Jeff) of Lenoir; daughter, Elizabeth Isaacs Kamberg (Kurt) of Charlotte; son, Thomas Dewitt Isaacs (Susie) of Clover, SC. She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Joshua Story (Kelly), Samantha Story, Addison Isaacs (Porscha), Garrison Isaacs (Betty), Andrew Kamberg (Catherine), Derek Kamberg, Jabin Isaacs, Grace Isaacs and great grandchildren: Henry and Bonnie Isaacs, Presley and Clara Isaacs. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at Yadkin Baptist Church in Patterson, NC on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 12:00 pm with Reverend Michael Isaacs, Reverend Steward White and Reverend Robert Livingston officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow the service. Our family wishes to thank the staff at The Shaire Center for their loving care of our mother on both of her stays there.
