Nancy Warlick Cottrell

Nancy Cottrell Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Nancy Warlick Cottrell, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Burke County on May 15, 1937 to the late Clifford Lewis Warlick and Ruby Beach Warlick. She was married to Jones Cottrell of the residence for 51 years. She was a member of Buffalo Cove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lewis Warlick and Burl Warlick sister, Mary Frances Carswell; and her beloved Aunt Ione Baird. Other than her husband she is survived by her daughter, Donna Greene and husband, Ira; son, Marty Cottrell and wife, Felicia; sister, Nellie Ann Kental; grandchildren, Allison Olivia Greene, Grant Avery Greene and Nora Aileen Cottrell; and her special Aunt Elizabeth Frances Warlick. A celebration of Mrs. Cottrell’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Darren Peterson officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM.
