Nancy Jane Cassidy

Nancy Jane Cassidy, age 71, of Blowing Rock passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Caldwell Hospice of Hudson-Amorem. She was born November 11, 1950 in Caldwell County to the late Henry and Colene Clark Cassidy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tilda McMahan; sister, Shirley Brown; brothers, Bob Cassidy and Buck Cassidy. Survivors include her daughter, Denise McMahan Shew; son, Kenny McMahan; grandchildren, Cody Shew, Linda Hodge, Misty Beach, Bradley Beach, Justin McMahan, and Katie McMahan; four great-grandchildren; sister, Caroline Roark; brothers, Gerald Cassidy and Kenneth Cassidy; lifetime partner of over 35 years, Paul Moore; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy loved life, family, friends, and working in her flowers. She was of the Baptist denomination and her favorite verse was John 3:16. Funeral services will be private.
