Myrtle Lucille Badger

Lenoir, NC- Miss Myrtle Lucille Badger, age 92, of Connelly Springs Road, died Thursday, January 11, 2007 in Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Miss Badger was born May 30, 1914 in Washington County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Hattie Sturgill Badger. She is survived by 2 nephews, Guy Badger and Michael Badger, both of Charlotte; 8 nieces, Martha Webb and Mildred ?Mickey? Gragg, both of Lenoir; Carol Lutz of Saratoga, FL; Leona Reeder and Jeanie Graham, both of Houston, TX; Peggy Byers of Elkton, MD; Shirley Teets of Haverty Grace, MD, Tara Barnes of Maryland and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Preston Badger and 2 sisters, Pauline Sheets and Sally Mays. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jim Lee officiating. Pallbearers will be: Adam Beagles, Brian Badger, Buddy Gragg, Timothy Webb, Robert Webb and Steve Badger.
