Myrna Jean Poarch

Myrna Jean Crouch Poarch, age 81, of the Kingscreek community, passed away on December 5, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Poarch; her parents, Louise and Buddy Crouch; and her siblings, Peggy, Billy, Bobby, Jimmy, and Jerry.

Myrna is survived by her children: Donna Poarch Reece (Richard), Roger Poarch (Pam), and Dennis Poarch (Jennifer). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Todd Poarch, Vanda Brittian, Bryan Poarch, Cody Poarch, Collin Poarch, Carson Poarch, Bradley Poarch, and Scott Poarch, as well as her great-grandchildren: Ty, Emma, Addie, Jacie, Dalton, Ruthie, Jackson, and Hadley. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, Johnny Crouch and Sharon McClain.

Myrna was always ready to defend those she felt had been treated unfairly. She enjoyed attending school ball games, playing family games of Pollyanna, and going to yard sales. Her absence will leave a void in our hearts.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Kings Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Randy Goode officiating.
