Monnie C. Arnold

Lenoir, NC-Mrs. Monnie Arvella Campbell Arnold, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at Lenoir HealthCare Center. Born February 19, 1923 in Shady Valley, Tennessee, Mrs. Arnold was a daughter of the late Lewis and Alice Fletcher Campbell and the wife of the late Armer Burl Arnold. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Edward Arnold, a daughter, Jewel Juanita Arnold, 3 brothers, Nile “Bud” Campbell, Bill Campbell and Sanford Campbell and 2 sisters, Viola Norris and Winnie Hodges. She was of the Baptist faith and always loved joking. She is survived by her daughters, Janette Trivette and husband Bert of Mtn. City, TN; Diane Miller and husband Lester of Lenoir; son, Kenneth Arnold of Granite Falls; Granddaughters, Dawn Woodring and husband Charlie of Boone; April Hargus and husband Derrick of Lenoir; Grandsons, Leonard Trivette, Robert Trivette and wife Nicole, all of Zionville; Brandon Miller and wife Sherry of Hudson; Great-Grandchildren; Benjamin Woodring, A.J. Ugenti, Ella Ugenti, Ellic Hollar and Braeden Miller along with several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Arnold’s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Russell Cook and Preacher Charlie Woodring officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Miller, Derrick Hargus, Benjamin Woodring, Charlie Woodring, Ellic Hollar and A.J. Ugenti. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ella Ugenti and Braeden Miller.
