Mildred Isaac Moore

Mildred Isaac Moore Conover, NC- Mrs. Mildred Carolyn Isaac Moore, age 85, formerly of Lenoir, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at her residence. Born March 14, 1928 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late Richard and Josephine Tuttle Isaac and the wife of the late Granville Moore, Jr. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Rick Moore and Scott Moore. Mrs. Moore was a former teacher̢۪s assistant at Lower Creek Elementary School and also worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of Lower Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She is survived by her son, Granville Moore, III and wife Sandi; 2 brothers, Lewis Isaac and wife Mary and Joe Isaac and wife Anzonette; daughter-in-law, Michelle Moore; three Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Moore̢۪s life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service.
