Mike Davis

Hudson – Michael Andrew Davis, age 66, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville. He was born in Caldwell County on May 26, 1954 to Mabel Greene Davis and the late Andy Davis. In addition to his father, Mike was preceded in death by his younger brother, Marc Davis. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mabel of Hudson; sister, Judy Davis of Hickory; nephew, Guy Myers and wife, Angie of Hudson; and niece Elizabeth Myers of Hudson and many other relatives and friends. Mike had an abundant joy of the simple things in life, like taking his canoe to the mountains by himself, cruising in his Cadillac or just being with his many friends.He was a member of Free Spirit Baptist Church in Hudson. A graveside service celebrating Mike’s life will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Calvin Hargett officiating.
