Michael Stout

Lenoir – Michael Allen “Big Mike” Stout, age 48, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 6, 2020. He was born in Caldwell County on August 14, 1972 to Mickey and Juanita Buckner Stout. Michael worked for Hamby Brothers Concrete as a truck driver and often said he was proud of his concrete creations in all the surrounding counties. He was the happiest behind the wheel of a big truck and if it had wheels he could drive it. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his fiancée and life partner, Olivia Kincaid of the home; daughter, Michalia Stout and her mother, LaShanda of Nebo; bonus daughter, Shelby Anderson of Lenoir; sister, Mandy Shumate and husband, Paul of Lenoir; brother, Jonathan Stout and wife, Caroline of Lenoir; special brother and life-long friend, Mike Smith of Lenoir; one grandchild, Harmony Williams of Lenoir; and too many family and friends to name. A memorial service celebrating Michael’s life will be held at Temple Baptist Church, on Old North Road, at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 with Pastor Joel Bixler and Pastor Chris Whisnant officiating.
