Michael Dean Roberts

Michael Dean Roberts, 68, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on May 8, 2021 at Hickory Falls Health & Rehab in Lenoir. Michael was born April 3, 1953 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late William Howard Roberts and Gracie Blankenship Roberts. In addition to his parent’s, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Debbie Taylor and Judy Lewis. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dianna Roberts; son, Derrick Isley; daughters, Angie Bell and husband Derek, Heather Killian and fiancé Jason, April Carter and husband Mike; brothers, “Smokey” Roberts, and “Jimmy” Roberts; sisters, Betty Roberts and Marilyn Branham; grandchildren, Maddox Isley, Preston Matheson, Kole Bell, Gabriel Bell, Jaylen Winebarger, Lily Atwood, Emily Hall and Jonathan Hall; numerous nieces and nephews. Michael enjoyed music by playing the guitar and banjo. He loved the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and going to church. A memorial service to honor his memory will be held at Evans Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11:00AM in the chapel.
