Lenoir, NC- Mr. Michael L. “Larry” Jordan, age 51, of Old Morganton Road, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at his home. Born July 19, 1954, Mr. Jordan was a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Jordan of the home, his mother, Elsie Jean Robb of Laurens, SC; one step-daughter, Tiana Smith of Lenoir, three step-sons, Eric Smith, Jr. of Lenoir; Jeremy Roberts of Lenoir, Joshua Benton of Hickory, one brother, Bruce “Stimmy” Jordan of Laurens, SC; one sister, Rose Mary Anderson of Pelzer, SC; 2 sisters-in-law, Edna King Bentley and husband Dwayne of Lenoir; Judy Miller and husband Dennis of Banner Elk; 2 brothers-in-law, George Coffey of Indianapolis, IN; Raymond Winebarger of Lenoir and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive 7-8:30 PM on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir.
