Michael Lane Hicks

Hickory, NC- Michael Lane Hicks, the infant son of Ronald Junior and Brooke Lynn Hicks, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Harrison Fields, Jr. Survivors include his parents, Ronald Junior and Brooke Lynn Hicks of Hickory; Maternal grandmother, Kathy Scarlette of Greensboro; paternal grandparents, Ronald Lane Hicks Sr. and Shirley Ann Hicks of Lenoir; two sisters, Heather Nicole Hicks and Brittany Danielle Hicks of Lenoir; an uncle, Charles Harrison Fields, III of Greensboro; three aunts, Amanda Dawn Fields of Norfolk, Virginia, Crystal Gail Craft of Hudson, and Delora Jean Craft of Greensboro; Michael is also survived by numerous other relatives. A funeral service for Michael will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Interment will follow the service at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
