Michael Eugene Hallford Junior met his Lord and Savior doing what he loved , fishing in Wilson’s Creek on April 16th , 2024.
He was born August 7th, 1979 to Michael Hallford, Senior and Debbie Fournier.
Michael is what you would say the true definition of a “good old Caldwell County boy” is.
Michael had many talents. He was blessed with craftsmanship of his hands. Whether it be woodworking, handyman skills, shooting gun master, avid sportsman fisherman, or hunting, he did it well. But what we all know him best for was, he is our Caldwell County mechanic, he was absolutely hands-down the best. There are hundreds of stories of all the people in our community, cars he worked on.
He was the face of Bolick’s tire in Sawmills for over 25 years , and as of late he was still doing mechanic work and also working for Kevin Annas landscaping. Something you may not know about him was he would help anyone, know matter their background. There will never be another Michael , “Mikey”Hallford. And by his public, profession of faith believing in our Lord Jesus Christ when he was a little boy , we know he is fishing in the river of life, in Heaven as we speak. Michael loved his family, all of his family and friends . His baby girl was the light of his life and his son was his pride and joy. And they will carry his legacy on.
He is survived by
His wife of 20 years Lorie Hallford and their two children Blake and Brooke Hallford
His parents
Momma, Debbie Fournier
Daddy , Mike Hallford and wife Deb Hallford
His younger brother Justin Hallford
His older Sister Christina Kirkman , her husband Jasen Kirkman , his two nephews Cameron and Payton Kirkman
His Ma Betty Hallford and the late Pa Stanley Hallford
His Mamaw and Granddaddy Dan and Carol Cihak
His Aunts, Uncles and cousins on both sides
And countless friends and “brothers” .
We fully believe and trust that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and we know throughout Michael’s entire life God has been gracious, and Jesus was holding his hand in his last days. Throughout the Scriptures, there are many references to fish/ing and most of the time it symbolized the definition of abundance, provisions, And faith . Those three words, have most certainly applied throughout Michael’s life . We as a family invite you to join us this Sunday, April 21st at Evans funeral home in Lenoir, we will be receiving friends from 1:00 to 2:30 and in his memory we will honor him with a memorial service at 3:00 with Jasen Kirkman officiating .
As Michael would have us to do
we would like to recognize his
