Michael Henry Forrest

Michael Henry Forrest, 67, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Michael was born on March 18, 1957, to the late Rudy and Carline Forrest.

Those left to cherish Michael’s memory are his daughter, Emily Bellar (Greg); son, Dustin Rogers (Becky) and granddaughter, Hannah; sisters, Dreama Perazzo (Nick), Cindy Livingston (Dan); his wonderful “work wife”, Patty Clonch (Gary), and numerous other family and friends.

Michael moved to Lenoir and found his purpose as a custodian at Valmead Elementary.  He cherished his Valmead family and loved by many.  Michael had a kind heart and would give anyone the shirt off his back.  Above all he was a wonderful father and grandfather who loved his family.  Michael will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Saint Johns Lutheran Church, 1781 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645.
