Michael Arney

Lenoir, NC- Michael “Mike” Joe Arney, age 51, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Caldwell Hospice. Mike was born in Caldwell County on March 12, 1961 to Frank Arney and Florence Brown Arney. Mike was a generous and kind-hearted man that enjoyed spending time with his many close friends. He worked at Lenoir Mirror Company for 30 years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Beverly Cook; the apple of his eye granddaughter, Zoey; brothers, Frank Arney, Jr., Timothy Arney and wife, Susan, Danny Arney and wife, Paula; sisters, Lory Arney and Denise Price and husband, Raymond; several nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephew. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 1:00 with Pastor Chris McNeely officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at St. Mark Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
