Meredith Dawn Greene Cline

Meredith Dawn Cline, age 41, gained her wings on March 29,2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

S he was born in Catawba County on April 8, 1981, to J. David Greene of Jacksonville, FL and Sandra Pritchard of Lenoir.

Meredith lived and loved life to the fullest. Everyone she met became family to her. She enjoyed her time spent outdoors whether it was on the soccer field, hiking with her fur babies or planting her garden. Meredith also was involved with the community with the youth group of First United Methodist Church in Lenoir where she served the Lord and brought others closer to God. Meredith fought a hard long battle and her “tribe” was always by her side through it all. She lived fierce and was awarded the Live Fierce Award for her courageous journey and her strong faith. Meredith worked at UNC Health Care in various positions where she later served on the covid front line. She had a strong impact throughout the community serving as a volunteer firefighter at Kings Creek Fire Department. She ended her working career at Gulfstream Shippers where she was an Operation Analyst. They were a strong supporter through all of the battles. She cherished spending time with family and loved ones and always wanted to make memories with the ones she loved. One of her favorite sayings was “suck it up buttercup” as she would tell her daughter on the soccer field.

Meredith was preceded in death by her Mother-in-Law Kim Staun Cline; Grandparents Hazard and Juanita Pritchard; Aunts Brenda Hartley and Martha Pritchard.

Meredith is survived by her husband of 20 years, Richard Dale Cline and her only daughter Reagan Cheyenne Cline. And Dillan Earp. Her extend family members; Leslie Ray Cline, Angelia Cline, Garrett Lowder, Madison Harmon and husband Kyle Harmon, Michelle Cline and Fiancé Robert Hall, Haleigh West and Tyler West. Her Mother Sandra Pritchard, Gary, Erica, Jonthan, Jana, Havanna, Hollyn Hartley; Father J. David Greene wife Linda Greene, Carmon, husband Mike Sullivan, Madison Sullivan and Kendall Sullivan. Aunt Tina husband Keith Nordan, close cousin John Author Greene.

A Celebration of Meredith's life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Lenoir on Saturday, April 15,2023 at 3:00pm. Friends will be greeted from 2:00pm - 3:00pm with Pastor Dave Melton officiating.
