Maxine Taylor Paisley

Maxine Paisley Lenoir – Mrs. Maxine Taylor Paisley, age 87, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Caldwell UNC Hospital. She was born in Ashe County on March 11, 1928 to the late Horton Bower Taylor and Pearl Testerman Taylor. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Jefferson, NC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lida Waldo Paisley and five brothers and sisters. Mrs. Paisley is survived by her sons, James Paisley and wife, Patricia; Cecil Paisley; Billy Paisley and wife, Sandy; Eddie Paisley and wife, Sandy; Freddy Paisley and wife Cindy; Joe Paisley and wife, Debbie; 45 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. A celebration of Mrs. Paisley’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Doug Woody officiating. Burial will be in the Paisley & Testerman Cemetery in Grassy Creek, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
