Maxine Byerly

Maxine Byerly, 79, of Lenoir went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2022. Maxine was born on September 14, 1942 in Caldwell County to the late Tom and Ruby Childers. Maxine was married to Tom Byerly for 53 years. Maxine was a member of Liledoun Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Maxine is preceded in death by her brother Woodrow Childers. In addition to her husband, Maxine is survived by her son Kyle Byerly and wife Teresa. She is survived by her granddaughter Katie Byerly and her grandson Seth Byerly and wife Amelia. She leaves behind her great-grandson Wyatt Byerly. She is survived by her siblings: Merrium Bush and T.S. Childers and wife Carolyn. There will be a service held at Liledoun Baptist Church on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 3:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Jason Payne. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Drive, Lenoir, NC 28645. Evans Funeral Service is serving the family of Maxine Byerly.
