Mattie Irene Mcgee

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Mattie Irene McGee, age 78, of Lenoir, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007. Born August 10, 1928 in Wilkes County, Mrs. McGee was a daughter of the late Otis and Mary Haas Pearson and the wife of the late Floyd Junior ?Pete? McGee. Mrs. McGee was a member of Poovey?s Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Hoare and husband Tom of Denver, NC; one brother, Paul Pearson and wife Virginia of Cajah?s Mountain; one sister, Margaret Greene of Lenoir; one granddaughter, Wendy Blair and husband Glen of Lenoir; one great-granddaughter, Amanda Triplett of Lenoir and one great-grandson, Bubba Blair of Lenoir. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2006 at Hollow Springs Primitive Baptist Church with Reverend Nicky Waters and Reverend Mark Dula officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 until 2, one hour prior to the service at the church.
