Matthew Thomas Coffey

Matthew Thomas Coffey, 34, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in Chesterfield, SC. Matthew was born in Burke County on February 6, 1990 to Tommy and Carol Ann Coffey.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lloyd and Cenie Coffey of Roseboro, NC; Ray Lee Wilson of Lenoir; great grandparents Claude and Grace Wilson of Lenoir; Daniel and Jodie Coffey; Sherman and Bunea Coffey of Roseboro, NC.

Other than his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Mikeal and Deziray Coffey; Darren and Erica Coffey; Megan Coffey; Jordan Coffey; Lisa and Tim Pride; Kevin and Connie Coffey. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Easton Coffey; Raelyn Walsh; Savannah Walsh; John-Luke Coffey; Bella Rae Coffey; Brittany Pride; Timmy Pride; Dustin Coffey; Zachary Coffey; and Ben Burch. Also, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Nicky Waters officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Mikeal Coffey, Darren Coffey, Jordan Coffey and Tim Pride.
