Lenoir- Charles Matthew “Matt” Robbins, of Lenoir, went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2020 at Duke University Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on April 10, 1985 to Bobby and Debbie Robbins. Matt was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church. He was a very loving person and was loved by all he came in contact with. He worked at J. Iverson Riddle for thirteen years and was a very compassionate friend to all the residents that he took care of as well as his co-workers. He had also started doing “Shabby Chic” and farmhouse style furniture. He was a very talented, yet humble person who is most remembered for his infectious smile that lit up a room. Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edith and Ernest Robbins and maternal grandfather, Clyde Coffey. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Tiffany Kuykendall and two nieces, Kylie and Karigan Kuykendall; grandmother, Faye Coffey; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service celebrating Matt’s life will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chris Helderman officiating.
