Mary Hartley Williams

 Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Mary Hartley Williams, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She was born in Watauga County on November 1, 1938 to the late Fred Hartley and Della Rhymer Hartley. She was married to the Reverend Ted Williams for 55 years. Mary retired from Lenoir Mirror Company and was a long-time member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. She had a great love for reading that she shared with many friends and she enjoyed music. There could never be enough beautiful flowers for Mary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Hartley and her sister, Pearl Hartley. Other than her husband she is survived by her daughter, Vicki Campbell and husband, Boyd of Granite Falls; sister, Betty Watts and husband, Sid of Morganton; sister, Faye Ford and husband, Bill of Morganton; and numerous relatives. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at Harrisburg Baptist Church on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Tony Harris, Reverend Stuart White, and Reverend Ron Burgett officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 prior to the service.
