Mary Lou Tester

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Mary Lou Tester, age 78, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Watauga County on May 17, 1935 to the late Eli London Ward and Ivy Davis Ward. She was married to the late William Jackson Tester. Mrs. Tester is survived by her children, Phillip Tester and wife, Ina; John Tester and wife, Rachel; Ivy Tyndall and husband, Wilbur; Amos Tester; London Tester; Shellabell Tester; Buddy Tester; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A graveside service for Mrs. Tester will be held at Matney Cemetery in Valle Crucis on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 3:30 PM.
