Mary Townsend Presnell

Mary Frances Townsend Presnell died on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Lenoir, North Carolina. Frances was born on April 12, 1931, in Banner Elk, North Carolina to Mr. Bynum and Mrs. Mary Davis Townsend. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Mr. Bynum Edgar Townsend, a sister Mrs. Florence Phillips, and her husband of 60 years Cecil P. Presnell. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Charlotte Lake (Gene Lake) of Vero Beach, FL. Three grandchildren Lorie Lake of Duvall, WA, Nichole Palmer of Conway, SC, Katy Lake of Vero Beach, FL.; three Great- Grandchildren of Conway, SC.;a sister, Mrs. Betty Walsh of Lenoir, North Carolina, and numerous Nephews and Nieces. A Memorial Service will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
