Mary Jean Miller

The world lost a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and best friend, Mary Jean Miller, on October 9th, 2021.Jean died in her home surrounded by her best friend of 39 years, Kim Triplett. Jean was born in Lenoir, NC on February 11th, 1952. Jean was known for her kind, loving, and warm demeanor that made so many happy. She was the best grandmother and friend one could ever ask for. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Her presence will live forever in those that knew her throughout the years. Jean is survived by her brother, David Miller and wife, Jane; daughter, Sharon; grandchildren, Jerry and wife, Hailey Watson, Nicole and fiancé, Junior Watson, Addison and husband, Malik Arrue, and Ethan; and her great grandchildren, Noah, A’lijah, and Nora; and her best friend, Kim Triplett.She was preceded in death by her brothers, J.B., Arnold, and Charles; sisters, Kathy and Minnie, and both her parents. Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Jean at Evans Funeral Home in Lenoir, NC on October 15th from 3 to 5 PM.
