Mary Williams Howell

Mary Williams Howell, age 82, of Lenoir, passed away, Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Gateway Rehabilitation and Healthcare.She was born January 12, 1939 in Wilkes County to the late Lonnie Williams and Clancy Mae Dula Williams.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Howell; two sons, Kenneth Lynn Howell and Darrell David Howell; sister, Willa Mae Williams McLean; and brother, James Thomas Williams. Mary loved the Lord and her family.She especially loved her dog “Brownie”. Survivors include a grandson, David Friesland; sister, Thelma “Maggie” Anderson and husband Donald; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Park conducted by Reverend David Allen Day.
