Mary Frances Honeycutt

Mary Frances Honeycutt Lenoir – Mary Frances Clifton Honeycutt, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Specialty Select Hospital in Winston-Salem. She was born in Caldwell County on November 13, 1933 to the late James Clifton and Fannie Eller Clifton. Mary Frances enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for them and the family. She also liked to work in her garden. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Clifton, Bruce Clifton and Harry Clifton. She is survived by her son, David Honeycutt and wife, Amanda of Lenoir; daughters, Debbie Helderman and husband, Steve of Lenoir and Karen King of Raleigh; sister, Norma Featherstone of Florida; grandchildren, Chase Helderman, Geoff Helderman, Caroline King, Ethan Honeycutt, and Cameron Honeycutt. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 prior to the service in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. A memorial celebration for Mary Frances will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Tony Harris of Harrisburg Baptist Church, officiating.
