Mary Dickson

Mrs. Mary Dickson age 69 of Lenoir quietly passed away Thursday April 15, 2021 at her residence. She was born December 4, 1951 to the late A.J. and Madie Dixon Scott. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charles Aaron Dickson Sr. and one daughter: Ms. Alicia Dickson of Lenoir and son Charles Dickson, Jr. of Charlotte NC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Havanna Culbreth, Aaron Dickson, Mackenzie Dickson, and Taylor Dickson: three great grandchildren: Aamari, Anita, and Nina; three sisters: Virginia Scott, Lauren Dula, and Julie Scott: two brothers: A.J. Jr. and Perman Norwood. Mrs. Dickson graduated from Lenoir High School and earned a LPN nursing degree from Caldwell Community College. Mary enjoyed cooking baking (especially her famous Red Velvet Cake) and family photography. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 2:30 PM.
