Lenoir, NC- Mary JoAnn ?Sweet Thing? Freeman Caudle, age 62, of Lenoir, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Grandview Villa. Born November 15, 1946 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Paul James and Charlotte Sue Phillips Freeman. Joann had worked for Broyhill Furniture Company. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, James Lee Sawyer and Charles Edward Sawyer. She is survived by many dear and special friends. A celebration of Ms. Caudle?s life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2009 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir with Reverend Randy Gibson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Evans Funeral Service, PO Box 3406, Lenoir, NC 28645 to help with final expenses.
