Mary Alyce Beane

Mary Alyce Beane, age 83, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, Robbins Center.She was born October 13, 1935 in Burke County to the late John and Bertha Rogers.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John E. “Bill” Beane and sister, Jean Rogers Moore. Beloved in-laws also preceding her in death, D.H. Harris, Becky Beane, Almonta Beane, Kenneth Beane, and Hal Moore. Survivors include two sons, Gary Neil Beane and Moe Beane (wife Joyce).Grandchildren, Susan Erickson, Lexie Simmons, Trevor Beane all of Lenoir, Stacy Beane of Winterpark, FL, and Corey Beane of Cornelius; brother and sister-in-laws, Mavis Harris, Bernice Beane, Fredrick Beane, Wilford and Linda Beane, all residing in Lenoir. A special thanks to Claudia Dixon for her love, care and support. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend David Payne.The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church prior to the Graveside Service.
