Mary Bryant Crisp

Lenoir- Mrs. Mary Magdalene Bryant Crisp, age 85, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2016 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. Born May 12, 1931 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Lee Henry and Ella Mae Sumpter Bryant and the wife of Mr. Donald Eugene Crisp of the home. Mrs. Crisp was a member of West Lenoir Baptist Church and had worked in the furniture industry for many years. She enjoyed working puzzles, reading her Bible, Decision Magazine and the J. Harold Smith Devotional. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Surviving other than her husband Donald, is her son Kenneth Eugene Crisp and wife Claudette; her granddaughter, Lisa Kay Crisp and two great-grandchildren, Brandon Eugene Crisp and Madison Kay Crisp. A Graveside Service for Mrs. Crisp will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Rick Safriet officiating.
