Martha Eller Bumgarner

Lenoir, NC- Martha Eller Bumgarner, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on September 20, 1943 to the late Maynard Lee Eller, Sr. and Madge Kirby Eller. Martha was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Naples, Florida. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Jerry Bumgarner and wife, Laura; Jeff Bumgarner and wife, Judy; Tammy Cline;Todd Bumgarner and wife, Kim; sister, Barbara Prestwood of Lenoir; brother, Horace Eller of Hudson; sister, Polly Rogers of Naples, FL; brother, James Eller of Hudson; grandchildren, Ashley Bumgarner of Wilmington; Madison Bumgarner of Raleigh; Emily Bumgarner of Raleigh; Richard Cline of Granite Falls; John Bumgarner of Chapel Hill; Danielle Cline of Hickory; Harley Bumgarner of Lenoir; Preston Cline of Hickory; grandchildren, Brandon Banks and wife, Sabrina of Hudson; Holly Griffith and husband, Josh of Granite Falls; Chelsey Watson and husband, Charlie; great-grandchildren, Shae Cloer and husband, Phillip; Seth Shatley; Tristen Griffith; Owen Griffith; Malachi Banks; Bristol Watson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Martha’s life will be held at North Catawba Baptist Church on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Doug St. John and Pastor Nicholas Wilson officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bumgarner, Jeff Bumgarner, Todd Bumgarner, John Bumgarner, Brandon Banks, and Josh Griffith. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
