Martha Bailey

Hudson, NC – Martha Jean Bailey, age 66, passed away on January 2, 2015 at her residence. Martha was born in Norfolk, VA on March 16, 1948 to the late John Smith and Dorothy Copeland Smith. She was married to the late Martin Bailey. She was a long-time resident of New Bern and moved to Hudson after 2010. Martha is survived by her sons, John Bailey of Hudson, NC; Paul Bailey of Wesley Chapel, FL; Tim Bailey of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Lillian Bailey of Winston-Salem, NC; and seven grandchildren. Services are planned for 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 1802 US Highway 70E, New Bern, NC 28560.
