Marshall Forte

Lenoir – Born on May 6, 1949 to the late Luther Forte and Maude Forte of Lenoir, Marshall went on to be with the Lord after a hard-fought battle with illness on his birthday at UNC Health. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Freeman, June Greer and Jean Chandler. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Phyllis Forte. He leaves behind one son, Allen Forte of Hudson; step-son, Bobby Neff and wife, Lori of Granite Falls; step-daughters, Toni Davis of Lenoir and Tracy Woodruff and husband, Chad Woodruff of Lenoir; grandsons, Tyler Davis and wife, Chelsie Davis of Lenoir; Darius Neff of Granite Falls; and Colby Burgin of Lenoir; granddaughters, Lindsey Davis of Lenoir and Gracie Neff of Granite Falls; and loves of his life, his great-grandsons, Jaxson Davis, Parker Davis and Noah Davis; two brothers, Luther Forte of Lenoir; David Forte of Seattle, WA; sisters, Claudia Forte, Liz Church and Sherry Silva. An Outdoor Celebration of Marshall’s Life will be held for family and friends on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 3:00 pm at his residence, 925 Blue Sky Lane, Lenoir, NC28645.
